The Mansion on Forsyth, Savannah GA Part 1

Talk about lavish guest rooms and suites, the Mansion on Forsyth Park truly represents the classical refinement of a historical mansion. The exquisite mansion turned into a boutique hotel, has all of the conveniences for the 21st century traveler. The hotel has it all when it comes to accommodations with such features as sumptuous bedding, flat screen televisions, and magnificent furnishings. From wireless Internet access to concierge service. The upscale accommodations are perfect for business or pleasure.

The hotel boast a beautiful robust art collection within the adjacent Art Gallery and on the walls throughout. From the time you arrive and step into the lobby you know your in for a treat. The million dollar chandelier in the lobby is simply grand. The antique style furniture strangely, had a modern feel to me. The service is impeccable, warm and friendly. The hotel is very accessible and right across the street from the beautiful Forsyth Park with a huge water fountain that is very southern and ornate. The outdoor relaxation pool (heated) with chaise lounges and water wall is set in an atmosphere of romantic ambiance.

The hotel is perfect for a romantic intimate wedding of up to 200 guests. Click here to see a real wedding profile. Scroll down and check out the highback green velvet love seat and ottoman, as a matter of fact it looks just like the cozy corner of the room that DH and I were in.

The International Love and Money Summit

We are having a ball down in Savannah GA. at the 1st International Love and Money Summit with Dr. Brenda Wade.
d
The Westin Savannah is hosting the Summit along with all of the speakers. The Westin, right down on the river front is just the right setting for the Summit. The first night we had sign-in and the meet and greet outside on the lawn and watched the steamboats sail by as we took in a little star gazing! I had an opportunity to talk with many of the featured speakers up close and personal. A fantastic, dynamic and personable group of professionals.

Although DH and I are staying at the beautiful romantic Mansion on Forsyth, (photos coming) the Westin Savannah is hosting the Summit along with all of the speakers. The Westin, right down on the river front is just the right setting for the Summit. The first night we had sign-in and the meet and greet outside on the lawn and watched the steamboats sail by as we took in a little star gazing! Today was great, seeing the team that Dr. Wade assembled do what they do best. All I can say is WOW, I am inspired and refreshed with a new energy and passion for love and life! We took the ferry over to Five Guys across the river for lunch that Dr. Wade and her team had set up for us. An afternoon of empowerment and then a break before diner and a Motown extravaganza. Can't wait to hear more tomorrow, day 2 of the Summit.

Marry on Romeo and Juliet's balcony!....

d
Who would have thought that the real Romeo and Juliet's balcony, would be made available one day, for marriages to take place. Even though historians now say that there's little evidence linking it to Shakespeare's tragic love story, the famous balcony opens for weddings as a way to boost tourism. Romantic couples searching for the perfect wedding spot can now tie the knot on the Verona balcony in Verona Italy, that's immortalised by Shakespeare in Romeo and Juliet.
