Although red is the Color of Weddings in China, it's catching on here in the states!

Red is central to the wedding theme of China. It signifies love, joy and prosperity and is used in a variety of ways in Chinese wedding traditions. The bride's wedding gown is often red, as are most items surrounding the event. Even the bride and groom's homes are decorated in red on the wedding day!

The Reception....

Lisa Ling had five chefs that catered her reception. Each chef brought a festive decoration for their station. We found by far this carving of fruits and vegetables to be a piece of eye candy! Here, the dim sum chef chose birds carved from fruits and vegetables.
