Fridays...Fav, Fab, Find!....ME!!!

ls
Today...especially today, I give thanks to God for blessing me to see another day, another year! I'm thankful everyday for my life but, on my birthday I pray a special prayer of thanksgiving for the gift of life. It's different from my daily prayers because I reflect on my life over the last year. What I see clearly is the fact that even though there were good times, times of frustration and yes...even disappointments, He was, still is and always will be there for me. I know without a doubt that as I continue to grow with Him by my side I can do anything!
d
Today's my BIRTHDAY!!!...How Fab is that!!!...Happy birthday too me!!!
s
I'm so grateful for the unconditional love and support of my husband, family and friends! To have good health, a roof over my head, food on the table and live in a country where I'm free to be me!!
d
My girlfriend from Texas knows that I love flowers. She sent me this beautiful, "It's your Sunny Day" bouquet filled with beautiful roses, carnations and lilies yesterday. I don't think she knows 1800flowers.com, is my favorite online florist!
d
When I called to thank her, she admitted that she forgot my birthday is today! I told her...."it's all good my love, it was a very pleasant surprise"!
d
Happy Friday everyone! Have a pleasant weekend! For those of us in the Atlanta area, it's suppose to rain all weekend, the perfect time to snuggle-up with your loved one. A perfect time to talk after a busy week, read a book together, pop popcorn and watch a love story! Wherever you are, whatever you do, make the best of it! s

XOXO!

Based out of Nashville, Rhonda Patton Designs is a floral and event planning company with special focuses on contemporary floral artistry. Rhonda brings her creativity, passion and expertise to every design. Her philosophy of approaching each event like an interior designer, is a key element to the success of her company.

Rhonda and her team start by talking about the best use of the space that has been selected for an event. After that they begin to approach various design concepts. They develop mood boards, sketches and illustrations using the various design concepts and best use of space. All of these methods are critical to the final design concept. Once the final concept is agreed upon, a timeline is created along with detailed designs and the arranging of mock-ups, viewing samples etc. The entire process is really project managed. A timeline is critical to the success of any project.

When it's all said and done...the most rewarding thing that your customers can say about the service that you've provided is..."It was just what I imagined it to be", and then you know that you got it right! That’s exactly what people are saying about Rhonda Patton and her team.

Visit Rhonda’s website {rhondapattonweddings.com} and see more of what brides and grooms are saying about her!

I will be working with Rhonda Patton Weddings on a special project later this year here in Atlanta! {stay tune for more details}

Purple Passion!

s
d
For as long as I can remember, purple has been associated with royalty. It's a mysterious color, and it's also associated with spirituality. The opposite of hot red and cool blue combine to create this intriguing color.
d

s
Purple is also a romantic color. To all the men out there that dare to be different, this year send flowers in the color purple! I've heard people say that men don't particularly like receiving flowers. I say....ladies....send your man a little royalty....Purple Passion!!!

2009 will call for an enticing mix of modern and classic designs. Brides want anything but ordinary. DRAMA…OPULENCE… ELEGANCE and CHIC will be the bridal buzz words for 2009.

COUTURE WEDDING FLOWERS "Couture" {koo-toor} typically referring to high fashion design and dressmaking has now shifted into the wedding industry from couture gowns to couture flowers, the term "couture" is being widely used. Couture in the floral industry encompasses monochromatic palettes (or jarring), unexpected color combinations, unusual textures and unique shapes.

Our More Than Just Roses..........
we
Aster: Symbol of Love; Daintiness; Variety; Elegance; This purple wildflower was named for the Latin word for "star." Also known as the birthflower for September.
qw

wewe
Flowers have been proven to have a psychological affect on people. According to a study conducted at Rutgers University, flowers have a tremendous beneficial impact on our emotional lives. Admit it, once you receive a bouquet of flowers or even a single flower you immediately feel happier, your mood improves, and you usually have an intimate connection with the blossom/s.
wwee
Flowers are living creatures, they too have names to represent their unique self. However, unlike people's names which represent personality traits, flower names symbolize the emotional affect the flowers will have on the giver as well as the recipient.
yu
Since there are so many names from A-Z, pick flowers that have a meaning as they relate to Romance!
we
Next time add a little Aster to the bouquet or give a bunch by themselves!

Flowers for Thanksgiving...

Indeed!...
df
Of course we're thankful all year for the love that we express to one another in various ways. You don't have to wait for Valentines day to send flowers though. Sending a lovely bouquet will definitely earn brownie points after long hours in the kitchen cooking the turkey and all of the trimmings! This beauty is one among many brought to you by 1-800-flowers.com. Oh...I almost forgot the best part...save the dessert for later when all the family and friends are gone. Ok...now have dessert by candlelight and the rest is up to you!
